This Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Santa and his reindeer will again return to McArdle’s at 48 Arch Street. They’ll be joined by Mrs. Claus, James McArdle and Nadia Itwaru, branch manager for Citizen Bank, the sponsor of the event.
Starting at 11:50am, Santa will arrive in a red Mercedes-Benz convertible.
At noon there will be a ribbon cutting to officially open Santa’s workshop.
The “We’re Back” party begins at noon and continues until 6:00pm.
There will be balloon artists and face painting for kids while everyone waits in anticipation for the reindeer. All are welcome.
The live reindeer are expected to arrive at 1:00pm and will stay until Dec. 23. There is no fee to come and see the reindeer.
Those who have their photo taken with Santa will receive a gift bag filled with promotions from participating Greenwich stores and restaurants.
Feeding times are 9:00 am and 4:00 pm daily. The reindeer festival was created and is produced by TMK Sports & Entertainment, a Greenwich-based event-marketing company.
