Pet Pantry Warehouse, a community-based business supplying quality pet food and supplies, is now selling “snack packs” at all locations throughout Fairfield and Westchester County. The packs retail for $20 and include treats for pets that range in value from $25 to $30.
Included with the pack is a community coupon voucher to a local food business for a free item with a minimum retail value of $5. To date the snack packs have raised over $1,136 for local food establishments.
Executive Vice President, Adam Jacobson, purchased vouchers from seven local eateries to support the local business community and provide his customers with something special.
“I hope that this value pack brings some joy to our customers while also keeping our dollars circulating within our local communities,” Jacobson said. “We understand that almost every business, including ours, is struggling to stay afloat during these challenging times and that we need to come up with new creative ideas to help support one another.”
Jacobson said last month Pet Pantry launched “Donatable Dollars,” which is geared towards COVID relief funds and this new initiative is yet another way we are engaging with customers and fellow businesses to support our community.”
The “Donatable Dollars” program has quickly raised over $5,032 for local COVID-19 relief funds.
Receiving charities include Greenwich United Way, New Canaan Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund, Al’s Angels, Operation Hope, United Way of Westchester and Putnam, and the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County.
