The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce will present the highly anticipated shopping extravaganza of the year, the 2016 Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days, Thursday, July 14, Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This popular annual event, featuring over 110
retail stores, attracts thousands of shoppers to Greenwich Avenue and the nearby streets in downtown Greenwich to find savings and values on clothing, jewelry, shoes, gifts and more from participating retailers and businesses. Of the twenty-three towns and cities in Fairfield County, Greenwich Sidewalk Sales Days are held for the most days.
“We hope everyone will come to downtown Greenwich during these four special days and support local business,” said Marcia O’Kane, President & CEO of Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great time to shop for bargains, discover new stores and experience a true shopping extravaganza.”
In addition to the many participating retail stores, this year’s Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days will feature live music throughout the weekend on the front lawn of the Board of Education, 290 Greenwich Avenue.
BarbaraEntertains.com will perform Saturday, 12:00 noon to 3 p.m.
The JD Southard Band will perform Sunday, 12:00 noon to 3 p.m.

There are also two official hashtags for this event #GreenwichSidewalkSales and #GSS2016 to provide incentives to boost community engagement.
