Ada’s Chef Mike Pietrafeso to Open “Roost” in Darien on Monday, Jan 29

Chef and business-owner Mike Pietrafeso is officially opening the doors to Roost
on Monday, Jan 29, 2018.

Located in the center spot of the new Scofield Place building at 1950 Post Road, Roost is the sister store to Ada’s Kitchen + Coffee in Greenwich.

Since opening in February 2016, Ada’s was voted Best Breakfast and Best Coffee Shop in Greenwich for 2017’s Best of the Gold Coast, and Chef Pietrafeso was honored as one of the ‘Most Innovative Chefs’ for the 2017 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival.

Mike is thrilled to be bringing a similar offering to Darien.

Much like Ada’s, Roost will offer convenient counter-service and scratch-made to-go items, featuring ingredients that are locally sourced, offered in a seasonal menu and paired with a variety of locally roasted artisan coffee from Path Coffee Roasters in Port Chester, NY and teas provided by Arogya Teas in Westport.

“Working with local and fresh ingredients is what I do best. We’re pulling our own mozzarella, curing all the meats and making our English muffins from scratch,” he said.

In addition to delicious breakfast and lunch items, Roost will also be open for dinner (open until 8pm weekdays and Saturdays), and will include a kid friendly menu to please the entire family. Stop by Roost starting January 29 and for more information visit www.roostdarien.com
