PRINCE: Rabin is an experienced, results-driven, dedicated life-long member of our community

Submitted by Lolly Prince– Former First Selectman, Board of Selectman, Board of Estimate and taxation, RTM

With conviction and certainty I ask residents to vote to re-elect Lauren Rabin as Selectwoman of the Town of Greenwich.

Lauren is an experienced, results driven dedicated life-long member of our community.  To highlight a few of her many contributions she has served on the RTM, the Board of Education, as a PTA officer of New Lebanon Elementary School, Western Middle and Greenwich High Schools, the Board of Human  Services, and has volunteered with Greenwich Alliance for Education, Greenwich Youth Football and Cub Scouts.  She knows our community and has experience in balancing and addressing issues facing Greenwich in a compassionate way.

Representing Greenwich as a Board member in CIRMA (Ct Interlocal Risk management Agency), Lauren worked closely with other municipalities to preserve local control of transportation issues. Lauren served on Affordable Housing Trust Board working to reduce development and provide more units deemed affordable thereby gaining invaluable experience on a regional level.

Additionally, Lauren brings her 40 year plus career in marketing and enablement in the technology industry to areas that are key in the present. One of Lauren’s strengths is her ability to make measured, thoughtful decisions that will continue create a future path for our Town to be a vital, prepared community of people who work together, listen respectfully, trust and care about each other.

Having the perspective of dealing with a decentralized form of government which was created by our founders I can certainly echo the importance of having well rounded experience in meeting the many demands that our citizens expect and make.  It is a true gift to have Lauren and her long-time involvement and commitment in our community. She is an example of our many citizens who devote time and energy to our special Town.. with respect, collaboration, her experience and results record of involvement on many levels are impressive and meaningful.

Please join me in voting to Re-elect Lauren Rabin on November 7.

Thank you for your consideration and your vote.
