Fassuliotis: Republicans Will Not Change “That Subject”

Submitted by Fassuliotis

“When I hear someone talk about inflation…we have to change that subject.” That’s what Nancy Pelosi said this past Sunday. (See NY Daily News, p 16, Oct. 24, 2022). Republican candidates for State Representative, Peter Sherr, Kimberly Fiorello and Ed Lopez, and candidate for State Senate, Ryan Fazio will not change the subject. They understand that the inflationary policies of their democratic rivals will only put further stress on households that are struggling with increased prices – at the gas pump, for home heating oil, gas, electric and water, and at the grocery store – as we see our purchasing power further erode.

These Republican candidates get that one party rule in Hartford is not good for Connecticut and that diversity of opinion will help move our State forward.

These Republican candidates will put policies in place in Hartford that will drive businesses to Connecticut, which will make our state a great place to live, work, and retire.

These Republican candidates will be sure that our homes and businesses are safe and that our state and local police have the tools to combat crime that have been plaguing our towns and cities.

Their opponents want to change the subject because they have no plan to tackle our State’s lagging economy, higher cost of living and unsafe streets.

But if you really want to change the subject to ensure that the inflationary policies of one party rule will end in Connecticut, I urge you to vote for the candidates that will make a real difference
in Hartford.

Vote for State Representative candidates Peter Sherr (151st District), Kimberly Fiorello (149th District), Ed Lopez (150th District) and State Senate candidate Ryan Fazio (36th District)!
