I am writing to highlight Laura Erickson’s integrity, insight, diligence, keen intellect and dedication to service which I have seen over the past five years as we served together on the Board of the Norwalk Community College Foundation. I served as Chair and Laura has been an invaluable member and officer.
The NCC Foundation of which Laura is a leader provides substantial scholarship support for students and financial support for college programs.
Laura has undertaken a number of tasks for the NCC Foundation in which we have seen her attention to detail and her creative thinking “outside of the box.” Laura’s thoughtful questions reflect deep knowledge of issues as well as the impact of the myriad prospective solutions affecting a variety of interests in and around the college community.
Laura has achieved great respect and powerful influence within our board through her even-tempered perseverance and concern for NCC students.
