Meet Carly, a three to four year old pit bull type dog at Greenwich Animal Control, where there are currently about six dogs and at least as many cats looking for homes.

Screen Shot 2014-06-17 at 9.50.21 PMCarly was found wandering in Old Greenwich back in March and, according to kennel manager Bil, compared to other dogs, she is tolerating the stress of the shelter better than most dogs.  She has a beautiful short, tan coat with a few brindle markings, and a white chest.

Carly loves to play and hang out with people and would make a fun companion for a person or family. She has charmed animal control staff and the firefighters who train next door.
