Adopt a Dog’s annual fundraiser, “Puttin’ on the Dog” will return after skipping a year due to the pandemic.
Puttin’ On The Dog serves as the shelter’s largest fundraiser and adoption event. The family friendly event attracts over 4,000 pet lovers with dog competitions and activities, vendors, a silent auction, food trucks and more!
The event also features adoptable dogs (and cats).
The event is set for Sunday, Sept 26, 2021 from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and will also mark Adopt-A-Dog’s 40th anniversary.

Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo, an animal welfare advocate, will be honored, along with Cathy Kangas who founded the Cathy Kangas Foundation for Animals.
Adopt-A-Dog’s mission is to save, socialize and secure loving homes for unwanted or abandoned dogs.
Event sponsors include Pet Pantry Warehouse with locations in Riverside, New Canaan, Wilton, and Fairfield in CT, and Rye, Larchmont and Scarsdale in Westchester, and Canine Company.
NEW this year, Adopt-A-Dog will be using a digital platform for registration, auction bidding, announcements, and more!
