Very successful adoption event at Pet Valu in Rye Brook on Saturday featuring animals from Adore-A- Bullies Paws and Claws and Cat Assistance.
The event also celebrated Pet Adoption and Rescue Month and includes raffles, cupcakes and doggie chocolates.
We met Tanner, whose owner needs to re-home him. Tanner is perfect. Just so swet and well behaved. He was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in Tennessee, and is a cute mix of maybe Chihuahua and Beagle? At abotu 20 lbs he is friendly, house trained, healthy, micro chipped and has benefited from his owner’s love. Tanner is two-years-old and has many years of love left. To find out more about Tanner, contact Kerri Ann Hofer in Greenwich at [email protected]
We also met Rocky, a five-year-old Dachsund, who found himself a foster, with potential to adopt situation by the end of the afternoon on Saturday!
A happy duo available for adoption are Romeo & Juliet who are being fostered by Laura of Adore-A- Bullies Paws and Claws. Contact Kerri Ann Hofer in Greenwich at [email protected] for more information about Romeo & Juliet.
A number of kittens were adopted, but there are still a half dozen 8-week-old kittens still available for adoption.
The kittens will be back at Pet Valu in Rye Brook on Sunday, April 26 from 12:00 to 4:00pm.
