Greenwich Emergency Medical Services and residents of Hill House senior residence community in Riverside paired up for a lively night of dancing on Saturday. The “Dancing with the Stars” inspired event was emceed by Nancy Gillian. Before the six contestants took to the dance floor, a special group of dancers got the party started with a silly dance. From there, Nancy introduced the contestants by their stage names, starting with “Knock kneed Jackie and her partner, “Wish I could Dance Alex.” Weeks of practice were evident as residents paired with GEMS Explorers in a range of dances, from Grease’s “You’re the One I Want,” to the Macarena, to Dirt Dancing’s “Time of My Life.” Continue Reading →
