There will be an Art Reception for Nicole Cantore Koester at the Gertrude White Gallery at the YWCA Greenwich, Saturday, Sept 26 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
Her show is titled, “Wood Snakes by the Sea.”
The show is on view for the month of September.

This series was inspired by the 2025 Chinese New Year of the Snake. It includes Nicole’s “By the Sea” series which features collected crab and oyster shells from the Long Island Sound, hence the title “Wood Snakes By the Sea.”
Nicole has a BFA from Syracuse University in Communications Design. She works in mixed media; ceramics, sculpture, and painting. Nicole freelanced as a graphics designer, then took her creative passion and co-founded Hand Painted, a ceramics studio in Fairfield, CT. She also has an Art Teaching Certification.
