YWCA Greenwich is pleased to announce that acclaimed gymnast Katelyn Ohashi will serve as the keynote speaker at its 4th Annual Fall Party on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 6:30pm at the Belle Haven Club.
Ms Ohashi will share insights from her journey in gymnastics, including her return to elite competition, during an evening dedicated to making high-quality youth programs accessible to more Greenwich families.

Ohashi was a four-time member of the USA Gymnastics Junior National Team. Known for her dynamic performances and infectious enthusiasm for the sport, Ohashi has inspired audiences around the world. Her return to competitive gymnastics in 2026 marks a new chapter in her athletic journey.
Now in its fourth year, YWCA Greenwich’s Fall Party raises critical funds for financial aid that helps local families overcome financial barriers to youth programs.
Proceeds support access to enriching experiences at YWCA Greenwich, including its NAEYC-accredited preschool, ACA-accredited summer camp, after-school care and youth sports programs.
The evening will feature cocktails, a seated dinner, dancing to live music by MOJO and a paddle raise, bringing the community together in support of opportunities for children to learn, grow and thrive.
YWCA Greenwich will also honor Sue Knight with the Youth Champion Award. As Head Coach of Greenwich High School’s varsity gymnastics team and a longtime Gymnastics Coach at YWCA Greenwich, Knight has spent decades coaching, mentoring and instilling confidence in your athletes throughout our community.
“We are thrilled to welcome Katelyn Ohashi as our keynote speaker,” Fall Party Co-Chairs Vanessa Darvish, Joanna Pisani and Megan A. Sullivan said in a release. “Coach Knight has inspired countless young gymnasts throughout her career, and we can think of no better way to celebrate her contributions than by welcoming another remarkable gymnast whose journey has been shaped by the influence of coaches and mentors. It’s a wonderful connection and a fitting celebration of the impact that coaches can have on young athletes.”
