The weather has been ideal for the St. Roch’s Church Feast and there are two more nights of pleasant clear skies are on tap for the Friday and Saturday nights.
The St. Roch’s Church Feast is the town’s oldest community fair. It was established alongside the parish in 1938 by Italian Immigrant stonecutters.

This year Stewart Amusements is the vendor and the event features music, carnival rides, games, and food including sausage & peppers and everyone’s favorite pizza fritta – served with powdered sugar or tomato sauce and cheese.
All children participating in Greenwich-based social service programs are invited to ride for free with the Hamilton Avenue School children on Saturday, Aug 15 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Sunday morning the church community will continue a century-old neighborhood tradition with a procession that steps off from the church steps on St. Roch Ave, down Chickahominy’s Alexander Street and around the block. Church leaders including Father Peter Lenox lead the procession, followed by a band and parishioners who pull a float with the statue of their patron saint, St. Roch.

- August 12 – 14 (Wednesday–Friday): 6:00pm to 10:00pm
- August 15 (Saturday): 4:00pm to 11:00pm
