Register While There is Space for Annual Town-Wide Wiffle Ball Tourney: July 26

Screen Shot 2014-06-20 at 1.14.04 PMTeams are forming for the seventh annual Town Wiffle Ball Tournament set for Saturday, July 26, at the Greenwich Polo Club.

Registration fee for a team of four (age 12 and up) is $100.

There will be cash prizes for the top three winning teams. The Tourney draws more teams each year. Organizers anticipate over 300 players and hundreds of spectators will be on hand July 26.

Proceeds will go toward maintaining what will someday be a permanent site. To register a team for the Tournament, and to learn about sponsorship opportunities, go to  Wiffle aficionados, many of them JR United Way members, have been hard at work during the planning process to establish a permanent wiffle field in Greenwich. Helping to move the ball forward have been the United Way, Greenwich’s Parks and Recreation and Police Departments, local businesses and others.
