New Telescope at Bowman Observatory: Open Night Tuesday, Oct. 28

The National Weather Service says Tuesday night in Greenwich will be partly cloudy, but you might just sneak a peek at the stars!

The Bowman Observatory in front of Julian Curtiss School will offer its first official public viewing night with the new 16” RCOS telescope from 7:00-10:00pm.

Keyholder and astronomy enthusiast Rick Bria says all are welcome.

Note: Starting November viewing nights will be on FIRST and THIRD WEDNESDAYS of the month 7:00-10:00pm.

The Observatory is located in front of Julian Curtiss School at 180 East Elm St, just off Milbank Ave. Park in the JC driveway or in the lot below the observatory.
