Kick Off the Holiday Spirit with the 2nd Annual Ornament Concert at First Church

Last year, First Church introduced Ornament, a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band, to Old Greenwich.

The concert was so popular that First Church is welcoming the orchestra back to town for another exciting performance on Saturday, November 30.

This year, the concert will take place in the recently renovated Meetinghouse. As part of the renovations, all of the lighting, sound, and seating were replaced and upgraded to the highest professional standards. In addition to the space being the perfect setting for this concert, members of the First Congregational Church Youth Choir and the Children’s Choir will perform with Ornament on several pieces.

Based out of southeastern Massachusetts, Ornament performs throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic US each year during the winter holiday season. Currently looking forward to their thirteenth year of touring, this 11-piece rock orchestra specializes as a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band.

Ornament is a full musical production complete with a full sound system and a light show consisting of dozens of lights, strobes, lasers, fog machines, and snow machines. Using traditional holiday carols and songs set to rock, blues, and gospel music, Ornament‘s show tells the tale of a real Christmas story; a story of Christmas wishes being answered. A moving tale, helping to inspire all who hear it throughout the holiday season.

In keeping with the holiday spirit of giving back, Ornament often performs to help raise much needed money for area schools, programs, and charities. As with last year’s concert, all proceeds from this performance will be donated to local non-profits supported by First Congregational Church of Greenwich.

This concert is at First Congregational Church of Greenwich on Saturday, November 30, 8:00-10:30 pm, intermission with refreshments. Tickets are $20 advance and $30 day of show. Click to buy online.

First Congregational Church of Greenwich is located at 108 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, CT.
