Greenwich Town Party

Now in its third year, the Greenwich Town Party Community Heroes Campaign is an initiative that celebrates the people who exemplify the generous spirit of Greenwich and what makes some 60,000 residents proud to call it their hometown.

Greenwich residents are encouraged to nominate the remarkable people who touch their lives and enrich their community – from a friend or neighbor to a teacher, coach, doctor or firefighter. Unsung heroes are often silent strengths in the community, and the Greenwich Town Party is honored to voice their contributions.

In May, a select number of Heroes will be chosen to receive a pair of tickets to the 2017 Greenwich Town Party. Greenwich residents and businesses can submit stories of local heroes via email, Heroes@greenwichtownparty.org, on Facebook with the hashtag #gtpheroes

Post at  facebook.com/GreenwichTownParty or on the GTP website at greenwichtownparty.org/heroes, where the submissions are also showcased.

About the Greenwich Town Party
Sponsored by the Greenwich Town Party, Inc., a non-profit organization qualifying as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the party is a volunteer-supported community event. The GTP is created entirely by the people of Greenwich, for the people of Greenwich. Sponsorships and substantial donations from town residents and local businesses provide the majority of party funding each year, allowing more people to attend. Thanks to the continued generosity of sponsors and donors, the ticket prices have been reduced to a fraction of what they would have been for such a large event. Every donation to the Greenwich Town Party above $25 is matched by one generous donor.
