Greenwich Police Dept’s 5th Annual Benefit Car Show Winners Announced

The Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund hosted its 5th Annual Benefit Car Show on Saturday, June 6, at Greenwich Town Hall, bringing together a standout lineup of vintage, classic, and specialty vehicles in support of scholarships for the children of Greenwich Police Officers.

The family-friendly event welcomed car enthusiasts, families, local businesses, and community members for a day filled with automotive excellence, music, community pride, and support for a meaningful cause.

“This event is a wonderful reflection of the generosity and spirit of Greenwich,” said Greenwich Police Chief Jim Heavey in a press release. “The Greenwich Police Department is proud to serve such a supportive community, and the Scholarship Fund helps ensure the children of our officers have the opportunity to pursue their academic goals. We are grateful to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and attended.”

Chief Heavey shared that the Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund continues to provide important scholarship support to college-aged children of current Greenwich Police Officers.

The Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to the children of Greenwich Police officers who demonstrate ability, character, and academic promise and who qualify for undergraduate studies.
