Students at The Stanwich School are hoping their efforts make the holiday season a little brighter for other local children.
Stanwich School students in grades PreK through Grade 6 collected toys for Kids Helping Kids, a local non-profit organization. Kids Helping Kids partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford to provide a space to have the Gift of Giving, where over 600 underserved children will shop for people in their family on Saturday, December 12.
At the event, children are given tickets to get gifts for their loved ones. They choose between thousands of items and then bring them to the wrapping department. While they wait, they can dance to music provided by a DJ, take pictures with Santa, decorate cookies and more.
