Greenwich resident, Quentin Ball, raised over $1,000 this past weekend for I Challenge Myself, a NYC-based nonprofit that uses cycling and fitness to improve the lives of underserved students.
Ms. Ball and 10 friends and family members for the second year completed an Outdoor Challenge, exercising outside for three days in a row, to call attention to climate change and climate awareness via nonprofit Climate Ride.
Participants biked, ran, stand-up paddle boarded, walked, climbed high ropes, and more.
“It was impressive to see how everyone was extra motivated to get outside and exercise, including my 81 year-old Mom, who doubled her outdoor walking time,” Ball said.
Ms. Ball ran, biked, and swam as she is an avid triathlete. Her husband, Brett Fagan, also a Greenwich local, took advantage of the nice weather and stand-up paddle boarded in Byram Harbor.
