Recently they announced the naming of its Future Society, a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to creating an awareness of the importance of including philanthropy in estate plans.

At a special luncheon honoring donors, an announcement about the Future Society was made by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation’s CEO and President, Juanita James.

“Planned gifts are a powerful way to support our community in perpetuity while meeting personal, financial and philanthropic goals, said Charlotte and John Suhler, Co-Chairs of the Future Society. “If you too share our dream of Fairfield County as a place where every one of our citizens has the opportunity to thrive – today, tomorrow and forever – we warmly invite you to join us in becoming a member of the Future Society.”

Future Society membership helps philanthropists make an impact and inspire others.

FCCF has vast resources to assist individuals including opportunity to interact with the Foundation’s experienced professional advisors to ensure one’s financial planning meets their intended philanthropic vision and goals.

When considering giving, the Future Society encourages individuals and families to consider a wide variety of questions including:

  • How do you want to shape the future?
  • What causes ignite great joy, inflame righteous anger or break your heart?
  • What is the best way for you, personally, to give?

“The Future Society is exactly what its name indicates. Establishing this program at FCCF is exciting and challenging. Our vision is to make the impact of giving grow and flourish throughout Fairfield County ensuring the longevity of funds to make the dreams we have for all of Fairfield County a reality,” states Juanita James, CEO and President, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. “Together we thrive and bring new meaning to all of our programs, projects and initiatives by planning for the future.”
