Cos Cob Riders Plan August Charity Ride for Kids in Crisis

The Cos Cob Riders are planning their first annual fundraising ride for Kids in Crisis on Sunday, August 6. This is not the first fundraiser for Kids in Crisis that the local bike enthusiasts have organized. Last year, after Kids in Crisis learned they lost their entire state funding, a sum of about $1,000,000, the Cos Cob riders  held a major fundraiser  for about 300 people at the St. Lawrence Club

The ride will commence at the High Ridge Road Commuter parking lot. All participants must ride no later than 10:00am for registration. Riders and passengers will need to pay their fee prior to the start of the ride. Wrist bands will be provided at registration.

The Cos Cob Riders Charity Ride will depart at 11:00am sharp.

The duration of the ride is approximately 90 minutes and will end with a party from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Glenville Polish Club, 30 Greenway Drive in Greenwich.

The fee is $20 per rider and $20 per passenger. Those who prefer not to ride make a $20.00 cash donation at the door to attend the party. Food will be provided at the Polish Club and there will be a bash bar.

Music donated by Fast Forward.
