Celebrate Arbor Day at the Greenwich Tree Conservancy “Tree Party”

This year is Greenwich Tree Conservancy’s 8th anniversary celebration Tree Party and the theme is “For the Love of Trees.”

The party is set for Friday, April 24, which is also Arbor Day.

The event takes place from 6:30-8:30pm at McArdle’s greenhouse on Arch Street in Greenwich.  Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served. The Conservancy, in a public-private partnership with the Town,  has planted almost 2,000 trees in Greenwich.

This year the Tree Conservancy is celebrating Greenwich’s 375th anniversary with the goal of planting of 375 trees on public and non-profit lands in Greenwich.

The Tree Party is a fun cocktail party for the worthy cause of enriching our tree canopy in Greenwich and the public is encouraged to attend.

Greenwich Tree Conservancy is a non-profit organization that preserves and enhances the tree and forest resources of Greenwich to benefit the community, its health and its quality of life.
