Open Arts Alliance Announces Auditions for SummerStage Season

Connecticut non-profit arts education organization, Open Arts Alliance is proud to announce auditions for its upcoming summer season including productions of: Finding Nemo Jr., The Lion King Experience, and Cabaret.

This summer Open Arts Alliance is pleased to announce its SummerStage season. Three two-week sessions for our younger students, and a 6-week program for high school students. Performers in grades 1-8 can choose from FINDING NEMO (based on the Pixar film and Disney World stage show) and THE LION KING (based on the Disney film and the Broadway musical.)

Whether you dive under the sea or journey across the Savannah – or both! – these musicals teach the importance of community, belonging, and growing up.

Students in grades 9-12 will travel to Germany in the years leading up to WWII. CABARET, the Broadway hit by Kander and Ebb, allows students to explore the topics of identity and moral conviction through characters in a seemingly upbeat nightclub. Right this way, your table’s waiting.

The productions are produced by 501c3 non-profit organization, Open Arts Alliance, dedicated to arts education and enrichment for children and senior citizens throughout the state of Connecticut.
