The Greenwich Town Party parade and free party at Havemeyer Field benefited from gorgeous weather and an enthusiastic crowd Tuesday night.
The events foreshadowed Saturday’s main event, the Greenwich Town Party and New Orleans theme.
Members of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Preservation Hall Brass Band anchored the parade, along with numerous local non-profits, elected officials and performers.
After the parade, the crowd funneled through Greenwich Commons and headed down the hill into Havemeyer field where the stage was set up and food trucks ringed the track.
