Make sure to order your tickets for the inaugural spring musical in Greenwich High School’s spanking new performing arts center. The cast and crew have been hard at work for months, learning dances, memorizing lines and building the sets.
Thursday marked the first rehearsal in the new auditorium, and the students we spoke to were truly thrilled at the opportunity.
“It’s incredible to take part in such a momentous part of Greenwich High School’s history,” said Colin Lauritano a GHS junior. “We’re paving the way for many performers to come in the future.”
“When I walked in today and saw the set I screamed a bit,” said freshman Oliver White. “Luckily no one heard me.”
“Being able to perform on this stage is a dream come true,” said Skye Gillespie, a sophomore in the theater program. “I never thought it would be a reality.”
Greenwich High School Theater Arts dept is set to perform Anything Goes May 19 – 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm at the Greenwich High School Performing Arts Center 10 Hillside Rd in Greenwich.
The production is directed by Patricia Cirigliano, musical direction by David Johnson, choreography by Davyd Suber and technical direction by Scott Borowka.
Tickets are $20 and can be reserved by calling (203) 863-8808 or at docs.google.com/a/greenwich.k12.ct.us/forms/d/1geQRkIco7PKQ-ggDp4wnvhppYEN3EGu-8xU36bMo-XU/viewform
