Overnight milling and paving operations for the Glenville Corridor Project are scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 21.
Work will take place between the hours of 9:00pm and 6:00am and is expected to be completed over approximately four nights, concluding on Thursday, June 25 (weather permitting).
Paving operations will occur along Glenville Road between Weaver Street and Glen Ridge Road, with additional work on portions of Weaver Street, Pemberwick Road, Riversville Road, and Glenville Street.
During overnight construction hours, roads within the work zone will be closed. Motorists are advised to follow posted detours and plan alternate routes. Police officers and traffic control measures will be in place to assist with safety and traffic flow.
During daytime hours, the roadway will remain open; however, drivers should use caution, as temporary raised structures (such as manholes and catch basins) will be present between milling and final paving operations.
This work represents one of the final steps toward completing the Glenville Corridor Project. We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation.
If you have any questions, please fill out the contact form on the project webpage.
