Harlem Wizards “Sky-Rise” Wows Old Greenwich Students in Build-up to Nov 24 Fundraiser at GHS

Harlem Wizards player Tyler Cronk, aka “Sky-Rise,” visited Old Greenwich School on Thursday morning to give students a taste of what they might expect when the Harlem Wizards face off against Greenwich Public Schools teachers on Monday, Nov 24 at Greenwich High School.

The game begins at 7:00pm and the doors will open at 6:00pm.  Get your tickets in advance!

Old Greenwich School students were regaled with Cronk’s seemingly effortless skills with a basketball, and eagerly volunteered for challenges including singing, dancing and shooting a free throw.

Cronk who is in his second year playing for the Harlem Wizards, hails from Seattle, Washington.

No one asked, but according to his bio, he is 6’8″ tall.

“The reason why I’m here is because I’m here to have fun, to party, show you some cool tricks and to do a little dancing,” Cronk said.

Mr. Cronk said before he joined the Harlem Wizards he was a special needs teacher in Seattle and today enjoys his school visits.
