Robert J. Roina, a lifetime resident of Greenwich, passed away August 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 55.
Rob was born March 19, 1968, to Rocco and Philomena Roina. He was a graduate of Greenwich High School Class of 1986 and went on to attend Western New England University.

Rob, along with his brother, was the proprietor of the famous “Two Door” Bar & Restaurant in Chickahominy. His shorts and his smile were his hallmark, along with his quick wit and one-liners. All his patrons became his friends. Rob was an avid Steelers and Yankees fan. He was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus, and most proud of being bestowed the prestigious Knight of the Year Award for two consecutive years. Rob always took pride in giving back to his community.
Rob is survived by his devoted wife, Diane, and his cherished children, Courtney and James. He is the dear brother of Janis Manning (Steve), Charlie Roina (Donna), Rocco Roina, Dina Merril (Steve) and Phyllis McMinn (Kevin) and also survived by siblings in law, Maureen Chiappetta, Michael Mason (Jenny) and Bill Mason (Lisa). He also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
