Great news for fans of Sophia’s Costumes & Gifts! Since Sophia Scarpelli moved her shop from its longtime location on Liberty Way to East Putnam Ave in Cos Cob last spring, she was recently able to double her shop by expanding into the adjacent space.
The result is that her expansive inventory of costumes are all in one place in time for Halloween.
Step inside Sophia’s and discover a world of exotic, vintage costumes for men and women. They have amassed a diverse collection of 1920s flapper accessories, 1940s oddities, and swinging 1960s costumes.
Sophia and Glen pride themselves on helping their customers step inside a time machine and impress their friends at their next themed party or Halloween gathering. From hats, scarves, and wigs to Venetian masks, headpieces, and eye-catching boas, it’s all under one roof.
There is ample parking, both on-street, and behind the building where there are eight parking spaces.
Hours: Sundays 12:00 to 5:00pm. Monday – Saturday 10:00am to 5:30pm.
