Sophia Scarpelli has expanded her shop into an adjacent space, allowing for bountiful displays of Christmas gifts, in addition to the costumes she is known for. The initial move to Cos Cob came last spring after 40 years running her downtown shop on Liberty Way. The expansion that doubled the stores size happened this fall.
Sophia is hosting a holiday Sip & Shop event on Wednesday, Dec 14 from 4:00pmuntil 8:00pm. Come check out the shop. There is something for everyone and merchandise at all price points.
There are a wide variety of jewelry, ornaments, hostess gifts, candles, soaps, snow globes, greeting cards, Christmas crackers, gloves, hats, holiday tea towels, handbags, wallets, pet-themed gifts, and much, much more.
Sophia’s is located at 428 E Putnam Ave, Cos Cob, CT 06807. Street parking is available in addition to the lot directly behind the store.
