Cold Snap, Snow in the Greenwich Weather Forecast

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Greenwich through 6:00pm on Thursday. The advisory will transition to a warning in the overnight hours, with isolated snow showers between 11:00pm Thursday and 4:00am on Friday.

Thursday morning brought snow squalls to Greenwich along with the coldest temps of the season. Thursday’s high  will be 26° with a low of 14° and wind chill values between zero and 5, gusts as high as 55 miles an hour.

Friday the forecast is for a high of 25°, with snow coming after midnight and a new snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible overnight . Snow should end by 10:00am on Saturday.

On Saturday, forecast is for possible new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches in the morning.

The cold snap should end during the day on Saturday, as temps rise and snow turns into rain. The NWS forecast for Saturday is for a high of 46°.
