UPDATE: 8:50am. At 8:38am, Greenwich Schools announced that after consultation with Greenwich Dept of Public Works and continuing hazardous road conditions, the district added an additional hour to the delay Wednesday morning, making it a three-hour delay.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain through Wednesday morning around 10:00am.
Due to the hazardous road conditions, Greenwich Public Schools will have a two-hour delay opening.
With temps around 29° at 7:00am, the high is expected to reach 42° Wednesday.
Expect freezing rain before 9:00am and rain likely after that.
Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 38°. Then, Thursday night, snow is likely, mainly after 1:00am. Cloudy, with a low around 27°, north northwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
