Greenwich Schools Communications Director to Depart

On Tuesday, Greenwich Schools superintendent Dr. Toni Jones said she had shared with the Board of Education, district leadership and members of the school community that Sasha Houlihan, the district’s Director of Communications, will leave her position at the end of July.

Jones said Ms Houlihan had accepted a new communications role.

“Sasha has been tremendous for Greenwich Public Schools, and especially during this past year when COVID communications were so important,” Jones said. “We wish her the best in her next endeavors.”

Houlihan, who started at Greenwich Schools in August 2019, was a product of Greenwich Schools herself. She replaced the longtime communications director Kim Eves, who left to work at GCDS.

Prior to working for Greenwich Schools, Houlihan was the Employee and Executive Communications Manager at General Electric Corporate where her role focused on employee Communications for GE’s global employee population.
