On Aug 1 Greenwich Police say a woman came to police headquarters to report an incident regarding an online order she placed.
While speaking with her police determined she was wanted in connection with a shoplifting incident that had occurred on Greenwich Ave an hour earlier.
Police say the woman allegedly stole a handbag at a shop on Greenwich Ave.
Angela Vereen, 34, of Bridgeport was charged with Larceny 5.
Her bond was set at $500, which she was unable to post.
She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 10, 2020.
