Woman Charged with Shoplifting from Hospital Gift Shop after Posting Friend’s Bond at Police HQ

On Dec 22 Greenwich Police say that a Port Chester woman responded to police headquarters to post bond for a friend who was arrested for shoplifting.

Police say at that point they determined woman, Tracey Tarver, 57, of Travese Ave in Port Chester, had an active arrest warrant for a shoplifting incident back on July 28th. Police say Tarver was caught shoplifting three handbags at the Greenwich Hospital gift shop.

Tarver was unable to post her $5,000 court set bond. She was issued a court date in Stamford on Jan 22, 2021.
