Woman Charged with Breaking into Vehicle, Stealing Purse

 On July 30, 2018, someone broke into a vehicle parked at 1333 East Putnam Ave in Riverside, which is the address associated with Walgreens, and stole a purse.

Greenwich Police conducted an investigation which developed Jamie Myiesha Edwards-Hinton, 23, of 100 N Commons Park in Stamford as a suspect, and an arrest warrant for Larceny 6 was obtained.

On Oct 16, Norwalk Police notified Greenwich Police that they had Ms. Edwards-Hinton in custody.

Greenwich Police picked up Edwards-Hinton in Norwalk and brought her to Greenwich to be processed.

Her bond was set at $50,000, which she was able to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 30, 2018.

According to the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch website, Ms. Edwards-Hinton has several charges awaiting plea on Oct 31, 2018 in Norwalk Court including Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 3 (Class D Felony), Larceny 6, Criminal Mischief, Burglary 3 (Class D Felony) and Possession of Burglar Tools that stem back to Aug 7, 2018 in Norwalk.

She also has charges awaiting plea for Attempted Burglary 3, Criminal Mischief 2 and Larceny 6 stemming back to June 24, 2018 in Norwalk, and Larceny 4, Illegally Sign Payment Card, Identity Theft 3, and Forgery 3 awaiting plea for a June 5, 2018 incident, and Burglary 3, Payment Card theft, Criminal Mischief 2 awaiting plea for an incident on June 18, 2018 in Norwalk.
