Unwelcome Greenwich Man in Apple Store Charged with Trespass

On the afternoon of Jan. 21, Greenwich Police responded to the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue on a report of a male subject who entered the establishment and refused to leave.

Upon arrival, officers located a male subject identified as Brenden I Hitt, 46, of 161 East Elm Street in Greenwich within the Apple Store.

Further investigation revealed that Hitt had been advised by Greenwich Police that as of March 2015, he was no longer welcome in the Apple Store.

Mr. Hitt was placed under arrest and charged with Trespass 1st degree. His has scheduled a court appearance scheduled for Jan. 29 in Stamford Superior Court. Hitt was able to post a $500 bond and was released from custody.
