On Saturday Dec 15 Greenwich Police responded to the area of 122 Round Hill Road on a report of a car that had crashed into a stone wall. Police report that the car had left the scene and was found in a driveway on Round Hill Road.
Police determined the driver, identified as Juan Gonzalez of Yonkers, NY had red glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol. He was unable to perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI, Evading Responsibility and Failure to Drive Right.
His bond was set at $250, which he was able to post. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Dec 31, 2018.
