On Dec 14 minutes before midnight, Greenwich Police responded to the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich on a report of stolen money but say that their investigation revealed no money had been stolen.
Instead police dealt with an intoxicated man who delayed the investigation and challenged officers.
Ivan Palmer, 39, of Grand Street in New York was charged with Interfering with an Officer/Resisting and Breach of Peace 2.
His bond was set at $500 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 2, 2018.
