On Friday, Sept 6 a local man responded to Greenwich Police headquarters to surrender on an outstanding warrant pursuant to his involvement in a Larceny in June 2019 on Overlook Drive in Milbrook.
Ramon C Torres, 61 of Hamilton Ave in Greenwich was charged with Forgery 3, Identity Theft 3 and Larceny 2 Involving a Person over 60.
Police say Torres allegedly wrote out several checks that were not his, forged signatures on them, and deposited them into his bank account.
His bond was set at $5,000, which he was unable to post. He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 20, 2019.
