Andrew Colin Morgan, 42, of 74 Orchard Street in Cos Cob was arrested on Friday, April 8 for an incident on his street involving a minor. The incident took place at about 3:10pm.
Greenwich Police were dispatched to a residence on a report of an assault to a minor under 16.
While en route it was determined that the suspect, Mr. Morgan and the victim had been separated.
The minor victim told Police he had been playing with his friend in the parking lot adjacent to Mr. Morgan’s property and that while he was with his friend a “mad woman” came out of nowhere and began to yell at him. Also, according to Police, the minor relayed that after the woman started yelling, a man all of a sudden began to scream “Get off my property,” grabbed him, slapped his face and pushed him against a shed.
Police reported that the minor was so frightened that he ran into a store and asked the owner for help.
Morgan was arrested and charged with Assault 3rd degree/Physical Injury. He was able to post his court set bond of $250 and he has a court date in Stamford Superior Court on April 15.
