New Haven Man Charged Arrested on Warrant for 2017 Incident in Cos Cob

Update: According to Lt Slusarz of Greenwich Police Dept, Mr. Reyes’ was wanted by his department for cashing forged checks at First Bank of Greenwich at 444 Post Rd in Cos Cob. Slusarz said the first check was in the amount of  $980, and the second check was in the amount of $1,200.

Original story: Jeremie Lee Reyes, 20, of 68 Pawtucket St in New Haven was taken into custody by Greenwich Police after police in New Haven had arrested him on unrelated charges and learned of an outstanding warrant in Greenwich.

Custody of Reyes was transferred to Greenwich Police on  Wednesday morning. He was wanted on charges stemming back to an incident on the Post Road in Cos Cob on Oct 6, 2017.

GPD charged Reyes with Larceny 4 and Forgery 1. His bond was set at $10,000, which he was able to post.

He was assigned a court date on March 14, 2018 in Stamford Superior Court.
