On Friday around 5:00pm, Greenwich Police went to Burning Tree Road to respond to reports of two people fighting, with one seen holding a box cutter.
Officer investigation revealed that the suspect, Frank Robilotto, 67, of Yonkers, NY, had chased the victim down the street, brought him to the ground, struck him with a closed fist, and forced his head to the pavement multiple times causing bruising and swelling. During the Assault, police say the victim made no attempts to fight back.
Robilotto was arrested and charged with Assault 2 and Breach of Peace 2. His bond was set at $1,000 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 28, 2020.
