Greenwich Police arrested a Bridgeport man by warrant on March 5 after he turned himself in at police headquarters on Bruce Place.
Police say that Phillip Grant, 49, was wanted for False Incident Report 2 and Interfering with an Officer/Resisting for reporting that his vehicle had been stolen when it had actually been involved in a car crash and had been abandoned in a different jurisdiction.
Mr. Grant was able to post his court set bond of $15,000 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 19, 2021.
