Home prices have increased in some cases but not all houses are selling so quickly. Most houses that are priced where they should sell, are going fast but those that are overpriced are still sitting on the market weeks and months later. The best tactic for sellers today is to price your house where you think it should actually sell. Instead of leaving room for negotiations like most did pre-pandemic, leave room in the other direction for multiple offers. Houses with pools are still selling quickly, just as they did when the pandemic started. As a matter of fact, it’s taking longer than usual to build pools now because of backlog and the high demand so it’s certainly easier and definitely faster to buy a house that already has a pool in place.
