Man Reports Dog Bite to Police

On July 21, a man reported to Greenwich Police that he’d been bitten by a friend’s Terrier-Mix dog weighing about 30 lbs.

According to Greenwich Police Captain Gray, the man had been at his friend’s house on Old Mill Road playing ball with his friend’s dog when the incident took place.

According to the police report, when he reached down to pick up a thrown ball, the dog bit his finger. In a second bite attempt, the dog ripped the man’s shorts.

The man went to the hospital and then to the police station.

“His finger was bandaged,” Captain Gray said.
