On Halloween at about 3:00 am, members of the Greenwich Police Department observed a Toyota Prius swerving in the roadway over the double yellow line on W Putnam Ave. in the area of Brookside Dr. before drifting back into the appropriate lane.
Members of the Greenwich Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle in the area of 273 W Putnam Ave. During the course of the investigation officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the breath and person of the driver, Ludivine Baugier DeChevestre, 23, of 367 Riversville Rd.
DeChevestre was asked to submit to a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, to which she complied and subsequently failed. As a result of the investigation DeChevestre was placed under arrest for DUI and Failure to Maintain Lane
DeChevestre was able to post her set bond of $250.00 and was released from custody.
