Greenwich Woman Charged with Evading Responsibility, Failure to Drive in Proper Lane

On Monday Greenwich Police arrested a Greenwich woman, Nicole Anne Cohen, 26, for an incident back on Feb 25 in the area of Field Point Road and Railroad Ave at 2:00am.

On March 11 Ms Cohen turned herself in on an active arrest warrant stemming from an investigation of the Feb 25 incident. On that date a Greenwich Police officer located a vehicle that had sustained fresh disabling damage caused by Ms Cohen’s vehicle. Ms Cohen failed to remain with her vehicle and did not contact police to relate she was involved in an accident.

Police say that when officers made contact with Ms Cohen she denied having been involved in a car collision. It was determined that her attorney reached out to relate that she had been the operator of the vehicle at the time of the collision.

She was charged with Evading Responsibility/Property Damage and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane, and assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 25, 2024. She was able to post her court set bond of $5,000 utilizing the 7% cash option, and released from custody.
